The annual Newtown Holiday Open House Tour is back againThis year marks the 56th annual Holiday Open House Tour and as usual is promises not too disappoint. The original Open House tour was called "Christmas in Colonial Newtown" and it took place in 1963. Back then, it cost just $1.50 featured 7 homes. A carol and candlelight parade in costume was featured on Friday night starting at Washington and Chancellor Streets and street caroling on Sunday beginning at 5 p.m. at the Bird in Hand.
