Spectacular Holiday Lights in Bucks County

Posted: November 23, 2018 by Stephanie Thibodeau

Shady Brook Farms:

Operated by the fourth generation of the Fleming Family, the light show at Shady Brook Farms on Stoney Hill Rd in Yardley is one of the most amazing light shows in the state. More than 3 million lights illuminates the acres of farmland at Shady Brook Farm. You can meander through the light trails in your car or enjoy the show on an open air wagon ride (weather permitting). The two mile trail takes about 20 min. to drive through if you’re taking your time to enjoy the sights (on a non-busy night). When you are done you can warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and cook up s’mores (available for purchase at the farm market) over a toasty bonfire.

Peddler's Village:

One of our county’s premiere shopping and dining sites, Peddler’s Village is once again decked out with gorgeous lights. A yearly Gingerbread House completion is held and the entries are available for viewing in the gazebo. The festive lights are lit throughout the season and the calendar is full of Holiday events

Byers Choice:

For many years the Buyers family has been creating some of the most iconic Christmas collectables and their Chalfont location is illuminated and ready for the season. The calendar includes a variety of holiday events. Throughout the season lights can be seen on the grounds, and holiday displays and nativity scenes are available for viewing inside the building where they design and make the famous carolers.

Fonthill/Moravian Tile Works:

Fonthill Castle is modeled after a 13th-century Rhenish castle, with Gothic doorways, 200 windows – each a different size, 32 sudden stairways, dead ends and 44 rooms, each in a different shape. The ceilings and walls are embedded with handcrafted tiles from Mercer’s kilns at the adjacent Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, along with ancient tiles from around the world. Fonthill is beautifully decorated for the Holidays and the calendars are full of events. https://www.mercermuseum.org/
